Creative Writing

   Hi there! I am Imani Muhammad nickname ( mecca or monnie). This website was created for young writers who are stuck and have nothing to write about. ( if that is your stereo). Or just have a passion for writing.

    My website is created to help teens create different stories each and every time they write.

     Myself, started writing when I was in the 5th grade. I began writing by starting with something small . Such as student essays, poetry, writing down little quotes in my phone. (At like 12:00-3:00 in the morning.) Overtime when I started working at After School Matters. I took a job for Creative Writing.  The introducers  challenged us to stretch our thinking into stories. Therefore I am here; to help you do the same.

     The story ideas that I post were taught to me by my introducers in the After School Matters Program.  So I wanted to share those lessons to the world.

On the same website I will be publishing my own stories (that I originally wrote). For all of you… Who need ideas on what to write about.

REMEMBER:

1. Writing is a process

2. Writing is never perfect at first draft

3. Writing isn’t about experience it’s about thinking  

4. It’s okay to get stuck while writing

5. You must maintain your interest with both reading and writing; because it’s very easy to quit when everything get’s to hard or moving too slowly.

6. It's okay to suck at Language Art rules:  ex: periods, commons, colon, spelling, run on sentences ( I am very good at making all of those mistakes) But hey

     It all takes practice.

 

NOTE: Some of the stories that I publish aren’t finished or may have errors within the text.  (remember: all Writers make mistakes)
